Dr. John Fleming, Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Economic Development (EDA), has joined  the White House staff, where he will serve as senior advisor to Chief of Staff Mark Meadows. On behalf of the entire Department, I am grateful to Dr. Fleming for his years of service to the American people and congratulate him on this opportunity to continue in that calling.

Dana Gartzke, EDA’s Chief of Staff, will now perform the non-exclusive duties of the Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Economic Development.
