Commerce New Employee Survey

The Commerce New Employee Survey was designed through a joint effort between the Office of Personnel Management and the Chief Human Capital Officers Council Subcommittee for Hiring and Succession Planning to gauge employees’ experience and satisfaction with the Federal recruitment, hiring, and orientation processes.

The survey results provide four performance measures used by the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) and the Office of Management and Budget to evaluate agency talent management systems within the End-to-End hiring initiative, based upon employee feedback.
