Courier Authorization Cards

Supervisors may request courier cards for their employees with a signed memorandum on agency letter head to Room 1033 or e-mail to HCHBSecurity@doc.gov.  The memorandum or email must include employee name and security clearance.  Courier cards are required when hand-carrying classified information outside of Department of Commerce controlled space.  Courier cards will only be issued only to the bearer employee.  Under no circumstances will the courier card be issued to any other person.
