The Industrial Security Program (ISP) supports Department of Commerce operating units during the contract, award, and grant process where performance will be accomplished by contractors, consultants, grantees, or advisory committee members who require access to classified information as documented by a properly completed Department of Defense Contract Security Classification Specification, (DD 254) and according to the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) as documented by the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM).
