Pathways ProgramsEstablished by Executive Order 13562, the Pathways Programs includes the Presidential Management Fellows Program, Recent Graduates Program, and Intern Program. They offer clear paths to Federal internships for students from high school to postgraduate school and to careers for recent graduates, and provide meaningful training and career development opportunities for individuals at the beginning of their Federal service. |

Presidential Management Fellows (PMF) ProgramThe program places outstanding candidates from all academic disciplines who have received a qualifying advanced degree within the preceding two years into 2-year fellowships. Participants who successfully complete the program may be converted to a permanent position. |

Workforce Recruitment Program (WRP)WRP provides work experience for college students with disabilities through summer or permanent jobs. Successful individuals may be non-competitively appointed to career positions. The Department of Labor prescreens applicants for Federal and private sector employers. |

Mayor Marion S. Barry Summer Youth Employment ProgramThe program is an initiative sponsored and funded by the DC Department of Employment Services (DOES) that provides DC youth ages 14-24 with enriching summer work experiences for 6 weeks during the summer. DC youth apply directly through DOES. Application normally opens around January. |
